The good times keep rolling with Durban skate scene

The next Hop Skip Skate event, Disco with us Durban, will be held at APKZN Hall in Carrington Heights on 2 July.

THERE was a good turnout at the community skating event, A Wheelie Good Time, held on Friday, 18 June on the Durban Promenade.

Event organiser, Vicky Kettle of Hop Skip Skate roller skating school said the event aimed to promote unity in Durban’s skating scene.

The community skate route took skaters along the promenade toward Addington Hospital and back.

Wade and Sam Davis take to the promenade with a bicycle and a pair of roller skates.

The skate ended with a social get together at the Point Waterfront.
