Human corpse found at Ushaka Beach, police launch investigation
Police rushed to the scene after they received reports of the grizzly discovery.
A HUMAN corpse was found between the rocks at Ushaka Beach on Monday, January 10 at approximately 16:00.
SAPS spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Nqobile Gwala said police were called to the scene to assist.
“Police officers from the Durban Search and Rescue, together with other role players, responded to a report of a body that was seen at Ushaka Beach,” said Gwala.

According to Gwala, an inquest docket is being investigated by Point SAPS.
“The body was recovered by the team between the rocks. The matter is still under investigation,” she said.
