Man shot, critically wounded in Morningside
SAPS are investigating the shooting.
A MAN was shot at a Hendry Road residence in the Morningside area just after 11:30 this morning, July 19.
The man was found in critical condition as paramedics arrived on the scene. This is according to spokesperson for Emer-G-Med Paramedics, Kyle Van Reenen.
“Reports from the scene are that a man, approximately sixty years of age, sustained a gunshot wound to the head. The man was treated and stabilised on scene by Emergency Care practitioners before being taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care,” he said.

SAPS are investigating the matter.
“The facts surrounding the incident and the events preceding it are unclear and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation,” said Van Reenen.
