Durban’s biggest dance celebration, Shall We Dance, is back. The dazzling show returns to The Playhouse for its 31st year with five glitzy, high-energy performances from September 12 to 14 with everything from ballroom to Bollywood, plus a tribute to Chicago the Musical.

DURBAN’S most anticipated annual dance spectacle, Shall We Dance, is returning to The Playhouse Opera Theatre, from September 12 to 14.

Marking its 31st season on the circuit, the celebration of rhythm, movement, and pure joy, will have audiences in awe and at the edge of their seats with it five jam-packed performances. Audiences can look forward to a spectacular variety of styles including Ballroom, Latin, Indian, modern, and ballet, with a few surprises in store.

Headlining the show are professional Latin dance champions Darren Hammond and Marina Steshenko, whose electrifying performances are sure to wow audiences. Hammond is no stranger to Durban’s stage, having made several guest appearances over the years that received rave reviews.

Hammond and Steshenko’s colourful, well-choreographed act and vibe will be lifted by dynamic eMCee, Lisa Bobbert, and her team from the International School of Performing Arts.

This year’s production will also pay homage to the iconic Chicago The Musical, which celebrates its 50th anniversary — promising a sizzling tribute to the Broadway classic.
