IN PICS: Thrills and treats at Port Natal’s fun fair fundraiser

Port Natal School’s Fun Fair and Flea Market delivered a weekend of thrills, community spirit and successful fundraising.

LAUGHTER and screams of excitements were the perfect background soundtrack to Port Natal School’s Fun Fair and Flea Market fundraiser which has been hailed as a success by management.

The event was held during the weekend of Friday, November 21, to Sunday, November 23, on the school grounds. It featured thrilling rides and music from Chetty’s Fun Fair and a variety of vendors and food stalls. Port Natal School principal Dennis Beukes said the funds raised from this initiative will go towards the general maintenance and the delivery of quality education at the 84-year-old school.

“This amazing annual event and initiative would not have been a success without your support,” said the chairperson of the school governing body Liezl Slabbert. She further extended gratitude to staff and volunteers that ensured the success of the event.
