Following the fatal incident that has left Morningside reeling in shock, first responders Cerberus Tactical Security have shed light on the situation. According to a statement released by Cerberus, the incident happened before 06:00 and the alarm was raised by a woman who arrived at the Florida Fields entrance and reported to security personnel that her boyfriend had been stabbed.

“A Cerberus Tactical Security response officer, who was commencing his shift at 06:00, immediately proceeded to the scene at Jameson Park. Upon arrival, the officer assessed the victim, checking for pulse and breathing, and initiated emergency response protocols,” said the company.
