Cupcakes for Cats fundraiser supports Mitchell Park’s felines

Mitchell Park Paws is inviting families to enjoy cupcakes and crafts while helping fund the feeding and care of stray and feral cats.

MITCHELL Park Paws is inviting the community to attend their fundraiser at the Spill The Tea Vintage Tearoom, Avonmore Centre, on Saturday (June 13) from 09:00.

Aptly titled ‘Cupcakes for Cats’, the event invites guests to get together and get creative by icing a cupcake to enjoy with coffee, tea, or juice for kids.

“Thanks to the wide variety of crafts available at varied price points at Spill The Tea, there will also be the opportunity to participate in other activities from the craft menu,” said Mitchell Park Paws co-founder and MD Cayleigh Bright.

Attendees will also make and paint wooden mobiles, decorate T-shirts, and make models with air-dry clay. There will also be unlimited colouring-in for kids at no additional cost.

Your ticket price of R120 for adults and R80 for kids secures your spot and gets you all of that, with craft kits for all ages and skill levels available separately on the day. An adult ticket gets you tea or coffee pot or juice box for kids.

“Your donation goes to the feeding, care and sterilisation of the cats of Mitchell Park Paws.”
