EFF announces mayoral candidate for eThekwini

The EFF's eThekwini mayoral candidate is a current MP and holds a Master's degree in Public Administration.

THE Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in KZN recently revealed Hlengiwe Mkhaliphi as their candidate for the eThekwini Municipality, ahead of the Local Government Elections in November.

Mongezi Twala, spokesperson for the EFF, said Mkhaliphi is a seasoned revolutionary and founding member of the party.

“Her commitment to economic freedom, ethical leadership, and advancement of the poor and working class makes her an ideal candidate to champion the renewal of eThekwini Metro,” said Twala.

Mkhaliphi is a current MP and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. “Mkhaliphi possesses the administrative competence required to restore effective governance in a municipality that has been crippled by corruption,” Twala added.
