Secure your spot at the 2022 Durban Business Fair

The fair will feature exhibitions, a street market, business engagements, sectoral master classes and fashion shows.

ONE hundred extra exhibition spaces have been added to the municipality’s signature business exhibition, the Durban Business Fair (DBF). The fair will take place at the Durban Exhibition Centre and Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre from September 20 until September 25.

The added exhibition spaces were made available following the overwhelming response and success of the recently held South Regional Durban Business Fair at KwaMnyandu Shopping Centre which attracted over 13 500 buyers who supported over 120 locally manufactured products that were showcased.

The upcoming DBF will run concurrently with the Durban Fashion Fair showcase. The fair, aimed at creating opportunities for local businesses, will feature exhibitions, a street market, business engagements, sectoral master classes, fashion shows, DBF excellence awards and many more development activities aimed at educating and upskilling businesses.

EThekwini Mayor, Councillor Mxolisi Kaunda said: “The Durban Business Fair remains the City’s premium exhibition aimed at equipping businesses with information and appropriate skills to grow and sustain their businesses. Therefore, the added exhibition spaces are aimed at offering more local businesses an opportunity to showcase their quality and innovative products.”

The empowerment activities will be headlined by influential business people and celebrities who will share their business expertise.

Local business owners wishing to launch or market their products are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and send their applications for the added exhibition space.
