“A strong supporter of the application of Ubuntu principles in business, Msomi leaves a legacy of cooperation with all civic and citizen role-players in Umbilo. He leaves to further the interests of his own NGO City People,” said policy director Ian Campbell-Gillies.

Campbell-Gillies added that a new chairperson is yet to be elected.

“Msomi remains a paid-up member of the UBF and encourages the organisation to continue its efforts to reduce crime through constructive business engagements,” concluded Campbell-Gillies.
