“I am very happy and shocked at the same time. With this money, I will fix my mother’s house. It is something I have been praying for for years. I am more than happy; words cannot describe the feeling I have; it feels so unbelievable,” said a teary Mchunu.

Oxford CEO Brett Latimer said it has been a long road at Oxford, but the next mountain is ahead of them, coming up in Amanzimtoti.

“In all sincerity, Oxford Waterfall has been unbelievable for us; the community has been incredible. We are honoured to serve the community. This next year, we are committed to being the cheapest full trolley in Durban.”

He congratulated Mchunu and said they were delighted to be able to change her life to the extent of a quarter of a million rand.
