Seafood and romantic music

Musician Matt Davies will be live at Bellezar on Valentine’s Day from 17:00 to 21:00.

Durban All White Concert

If you’re looking for a party on Valentine’s Day, dress up and show up at the Durban All White Concert for a Valentine‘s weekend date-night concert.

The event falls on February 17 and will be hosted at the Durban International Convention Centre from 16:00 to 02:00. Tickets are priced from R250 to R600, and the theme is all white with a touch of gold.

Cruise the canal

You can board one of the Zulumoon Gondolas at the dock at uShaka Marine World and then spend a few magical hours admiring the sights of the Durban Point Waterfront with its lovely bridges as well as the fish life in the canal itself.

Although most gondola tours are done during the day, you can reserve a special tour at night.  You can also enjoy a cruise with the love of your life through Durban’s harbour as the sun sets.

Ride along the promenade

If you need to work off some energy, grab a bike and cycle along the Durban Promenade. For those who don’t have their own bicycle, there’s always the option to hire a bike from Moses Mabhida Stadium’s bicycle hire shop. If you hire an adult bicycle for R80 an hour, it will give you enough time to cycle Durban’s legendary promenade from the harbour mouth to Blue Lagoon, the Moses Mabhida stadium and beyond.
