IF you’re looking for a fun children’s activity and a safe and exciting place to take your kids during the school holidays, you’re in luck! Mitchell’s Park Zoo will be hosting a holiday programme, giving primary-school-age children a chance to explore and enjoy the outdoors.

The Mitchell Park Zoo has two fun-filled days planned for children offering an array of outdoor activities at the Mitchell Park Holiday Programme. The programme is set to run from 08:00 to 14:00 on Thursday, June 20, and Friday, June 21.

According to a statement released by the eThekwini Municipality, the programme is for children aged 8 to 13 years at R12 per child. Payment will be made upon arrival at the ticket office.

“Make sure your child brings along a packed lunch. They should also wear safe and comfortable shoes. Booking is essential,” said the municipality.
