Fetus discovered in Overport bin

The discovery was made by someone who was rummaging in a bin at the corner of Sparks and Brickfield roads.

PARAMEDICS responding to calls for medical assistance on Friday morning were met with a tragic scene in the Overport area.

Local security officers guided paramedics to a bin, located at the corner of Sparks Road and Brickfield Road – where the body of a fetus had been found.

According to Garrith Jamieson of ALS Paramedics, the discovery was made by someone who had been rummaging in the bin.
