Shall We Dance dazzles audiences with 31 years of rhythm and flair
The two hour show also featured seven dance schools who gave off colourful performances dancing to a variety of music spanning the last six decades.
CELEBRATING its 31st year, the annual South African Dance Teachers Association show, Shall We Dance, thrilled crowds this weekend.
Staged at the Opera Theatre’s stage at The Playhouse, the show featured 31 dance numbers to celebrate its 31 years.
This year the show included everything from Ballroom, Latin, Indian, Modern, Hip Hop, Ballet, with a few special numbers by MC Lisa Bobbert and her fabulously talented triple threat team from the International School of Performing Arts (ISPA).
Bobbert charmed the crowd with her skills and wardrobe and was joined by international guests, Darren Hammond and Marina Steshenko, based in Hong Kong, who were flawless with their high-energy, feisty impressive dances that entertained the masses.
