Eden College crowned victors in water engineering clash

Eden College wins the SAICE Durban Aqualibrium Competition, securing a spot at nationals with an outstanding display of engineering skill.

WITH beaming pride, the Eden College Aqualibrium team is heading for the Nationals in May after it beat its 14 counterparts in yesterday’s SAICE Durban Aqualibrium Competition 2026.

The school was the host of the water engineering competition, which is an initiative of SAICE, an organisation that aims to support and grow the civil engineering industry in South Africa. The maths and science students were transported into the world of water engineering and sustainability.

The level of talent and teamwork among the future engineers was described as exceptional. Claiming positions two and three were Adams College and Durban High School, respectively.
