Glenwood takes sevens title

GLENWOOD High School’s rugby team took top honours at the Photonote Sevens tournament at the school on Saturday.

The tournament consisted of 20 teams predominantly from KZN with three teams from Gauteng.

The final rankings for the top 10 were: 1st Glenwood, 2nd Maritzburg College, 3rd Michaelhouse, 4th Die Anker, 5th Pioneer (Newcastle), 6th Westville, 7th Montana (Pretoria), 8th Kearsney College, 9th Northwood and 10th George Campbell.

In the Cup Final, Glenwood were 50-17 against College, in the Plate Final Pioneer were 21-5 to Westville, in the Bowl Final, Northwood were 21-10 to George Campbell and in the Shield Final, DHS were 38-5 to Kingsway.
