The Durban Metro Police Service advises motorists and the public that traffic will be affected around Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, October 10, for the MTN8 Final between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
The stadium gates will open at 14: 00, with the match scheduled to kick off at 18:00.
Isaiah Ntshangase Road will be closed to traffic from 12:00 and will reopen after the match once it is safe for motorists and pedestrians.
“Motorists who are not attending the match are advised to avoid the Moses Mabhida Stadium precinct and use alternative routes to reach their destinations. Match spectators are encouraged to arrive early, plan their journeys, and follow the instructions of Metro Police and other law-enforcement officials on duty.

“Parking will be available at Mustering Field, Suncoast Casino, and on-street parking along Umgeni Road. The designated drop-off zone is on Umgeni Road. Motorists are requested to use the drop-off zone responsibly and avoid obstructing traffic,” said Colonel Boysie Zungu of the Durban Metro Police Service.
People without match tickets are advised not to travel to the stadium precinct. They can enjoy the match-day atmosphere at the official fan park at Bay of Plenty on the Durban beachfront, with entertainment starting from 12:00.
The metro police appeals to motorists and spectators to co-operate with officials, obey traffic instructions, and allow extra travel time due to expected congestion.
