Glenwood cricket notches up centuries

Glenwood's cricket season is off to a good start.

IT was a great start to the cricket season for Glenwood High this past weekend when all A teams recorded wins over Sunfoil.

The 1st team managed a 55 run win and the u14As chipped in with a 98 run win. The u16As however impressed with a massive 288 run win over Sunfoil.

The boys in green were sent in to bat first and finished on 387/4 with two boys making centuries. Matthew Kirkham smashed a brutal 161 not out and was supported by Dylan Labuschagne who made a classy 108.

Sunfoil struggled and were bowled out for 99. Labuschagne again was influential and spun his way to figures of 3 wickets for 9 runs in his team’s win.
