Radio boats spring into action
Spectators and radio boat enthusiasts took advantage of the balmy weather at the weekend and enjoyed Spring day at the Durban Radio Boat Club.

THE Durban Radio Boat Club celebrated Spring Day with an open dy at the Model Yacht Pond at Blue Lagoon.
The Scale Section had many different models in action on the water and a static display was set up on the banks of the Pond for everyone to enjoy.
The Radio Controlled Laser fleet of yachts raced their Spring Regatta with a fleet of 11 skippers competing .
Vice Commodore of the DRBC, Roy Lorentz, said of the day, “It certainly was a stunning turnout at the Pond on Sunday with much interest and enthusiasm from members and the citizens of Durban alike.”
A group of motor bike riders from the Dolphin Coast had also arranged to spend the day at the Pond and were well entertained by the days’ activities.
