RDLI

At a Special General Meeting held recently, RDLI has taken the regrettable decision to close the club at the end of October 2013, due to various reasons that make it unviable to continue. This is a sad end to a club that started in 1948 and achieved remarkable sporting and administrative achievements in its 65 years of existence. We bid farewell to the “biggest little club in town”. All club activities will continue until the end of October.

Congratulations to Louise Larkin and Bronwyn Webber for their fantastic achievements in the Proteas National team at the recent Africa States Tournament in Windhoek. Louise brought home a full house winning three gold medals, and Bronwyn won two golds and a bronze.

Thursday afternoon is our regular Mixed Drawn Tabs at 1.30 pm, in mufti, and all visitors are welcome.

The club Drawn Mixed Pairs continues on Saturday 21 September from 2 pm.

The next Warwick Jackpot Rollover Trips is on Sunday morning, 22 September, and Jackpot is up to R1300. The format is nominated 3 bowl trips (any combo), 2 games of 10 ends, and prizes for overall winner, second session and most touchers. Entrance is only R15 each. Contact Dave 084 837 5893 or Robbie 072 995 6874 to confirm your entry.
