Quins get in valuable practice
Join the Umbilo Harlequins Cricket Club as it heads into a new season.
UMBILO Harlequins Cricket Club’s fourth team were engaged in an early pre-season practice match against a formidable Newlands East side at Harlequins at the weekend. Although Quins were well beaten in the game, the occasion provided players with invaluable game time. Quins seniors had a training session which included the use of their state of the art bowling machine in the nets on Sunday morning at 10am.
The first teams initial three matches are all away events with the first match being against Verulam on Sunday 29 September. Lower league matches will commence in early October.
Training for seniors will be on Sunday 22 September.
