National Awareness day is being played on the 27 October at 8.30a.m. Entrance is R10 per player and will be 2 x 10 ends of bowls. For those of you who do not know how to play the game bowls will be supplied. Awareness Day is about encouraging new bowlers.

Our “Fab Four” have done it again and won the District Fours Championship. Well done to Louise Larkin, Glenda Matthews, Bronwyn Webber and Leonie Koedyk who beat Gill Buzzard’s team 27- 18 in the final, and to bring more great honour to our “Biggest little club in town”.
The winners of the final Warwick Rollover Trips last Sunday 20th October were:- 1st prize of R900 – Trevor Phillips, Barbara Smithard, Doug Smith 4+23. 2nd session R450 – Kerry Gilder, Ernie Clarke, Nora Gilder 2 +15. Most touchers for R50 – Dave Richards with 8.
Thursday afternoon is the final Mixed Drawn Tabs at 1.30 pm, with Perfect Delivery cash prizes up for grabs. Dress is mufti, and all visitors are welcome,. Call Dave on 084 837 5893 for numbers for catering, and just pitch up for drawn tabs.
This Sunday 27 October RDLI is the final Metcalfe Mixed Fours – before the club closes at the end of the month. There are R5,000 worth of prizes and the format is mixed combo, with 3 games of 12 ends, skins with 1 point per end. Prizes are Hirsch vouchers for top 3 teams and 3 session prizes.
