THE Inanda Water ski Club held a successful Mini League competition at Inanda Dam recently. Pristine conditions greeted 19 waterskiers, five of which were newcomers to the slalom course.
Robyn Lowe, a junior skier from Pietermaritzburg was one of the standouts on the day. Craig Gordon (club chairman) said the Mini League competitions are designed to encourage skiers to experience the challenging world of Tournament Waterskiing, in a fun and social environment.
“If you and your family enjoy waterskiing, if you can get up on one ski and cross the wake – then why not come along and learn how to ski through the slalom course,” he said.
