It’s Tour Durban time

Cyclists will soon take to the streets of Durban for the Tour Durban cycle race.

THE aQuellé Tour Durban takes places on Sunday, 27 April.

The event consists of a 105km road race, a 45km road race and the 55km cyclo-cross race, which made its debut at the 2013 event, all starting and finishing at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

There will be full road closure and the country’s top riders will be there to fight it out for the title.

The event, which celebrates its 21st anniversary this year, is once again a qualifier for the 2015 Cape Argus Pick ‘n Pay Cycle Tour and should attract the country’s top riders to Durban.

Start times for the three events have not been announced but more information can be found at www.tourdurban.co.za
