Glenwood biker tackles MTB challenge
Domingo Pestana Do Vale is ready for the MTN Nissan Trail Seeker challenge this Sunday.
GLENWOOD MTB rider, Domingo Pestana Do Vale, will participate in a 110km MTB challenge this Sunday, 22 June.
Domingo said he is prepared for the MTN Nissan Trail Seeker in Hilton, which is the build up of a few races for his Joberg2C race.
“I have been training hard and following a strict eating programme. This is the first time I am doing the even, and have wanted to take part in it for a while. My friend is taking part with me, which gives me more confidence. I’m feeling good and have been doing interval training, which improves the VO2 max,” he said.
Domingo will take on Hollow Trails, a 50km race, after this, the Berg2Bush event, which is a three-day race in Winterton in October, the Homeward Bound 230km race in the Midlands in November, and the Joberg2C in April next year.
“I’ve got this line-up of events and am looking forward to the challenge!” he said.
