Stella hosts soccer tourney

A Five-a-Side tournament was hosted at Stella Football Club recently.

THERE was a whole lot of excitement, great sportsmanship, enthusiastic cheering from the sidelines and a fine display of young football skills at the Five-a-Side tournament hosted at Stella Football Club on Friday evening.

Stella made it into the finals of the U7, U8, U9, U10, U11 and U13 finals and finished tournament winners on a total point system.

Bayview FC received the main trophy from Stella as a token of its appreciation for their participation and for the major improvement it has shown throughout the season.

The final results were:

U6 Bayview, U7 Arstar Lavistar, U8 Stella, U9 Juventus, U10 Skills Stars, U11 Stella, U12 Yellowwood Park, U13 Bayview.
