Berea schools make an impact at rugby festival
Despite overcast weather, Glenwood High School was among two KwaZulu-Natal schools that were unbeaten.
TWO KZN teams, Glenwood High School and Westville Boys’ High, and Hoërskool Monument from Krugersdorp, ended the 14th Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival, where they wrapped up on Monday, April 10, unbeaten.
As in the previous years, the festival was well supported on the three play days, and spectators were able to enjoy a high standard of competitive rugby.
After great weather on Thursday and Saturday, things took a turn on Monday, with cold, overcast conditions really testing the skill level of the players involved, though it did nothing to dampen the excitement factor.
