WHITE Mountain Festival returns for its thirteenth year this 27 to 30 September boasting the perfect opportunity to unwind in a stunning setting with some of the best acoustic acts in the country.

Known for its intimate and relaxed atmosphere the festival is held at White Mountain Lodge in the foothills of the Giant’s Castle Nature Reserve, only 185km from Durban and just 28km off the N3 on tarred roads.

Included on the bill are the likes of Crimson House, The Black Cat Bones, Auldfield (featuring Wendy Oldfield and Robin Auld), Nomadic Orchestra, Bad Peter, Victoria Raw, Margaret’s Daughter, Beyond Vocal, Wolfgang Marrow, Barefoot Breeze, Black Harbour and Roarke Angelbright.

Attendees can also look forward to vibrant arts and crafts and a wide variety of food and drink outlets. Plus outdoor fun including free morning and sunset yoga, bootcamp sessions to a 100m zip line and fun stuff for the kids like scavenger hunts.

Fishing and boating is available for a more laid-back approach. Not to forget the lodge’s spacious grounds, swimming pool and charming old stone pub with satellite TV and late-night live music.

General camping is included in the ticket price but there is also the option of booking into a stylish on-site ‘tent hotel’ as a relaxing, hassle-free camping experience with spacious walk-in tents, comfy beds, linen, towels, chairs, tables and hot showers.
