Freeway Park Primary School celebrates its golden anniversary with music, sports, culture, and unity

Freeway Park Primary School celebrated its 50th anniversary with a series of fun activities this week.

The joyous event, which brought together learners and staff members, included dance, singing, soccer and netball activities that created a joyous atmosphere.

School management said the celebrations demonstrated the school’s continued dedication to culture, collaboration, and well-being.

Principal N Nortjé said everyone at the school promised to carry the same energy into the following years.

During the event, participants shared memories, indulged in refreshments, and showed their support for Bafana Bafana as they were set to take on Mexico in the 2026 FIFA World Cup on June 11.
