Spreading wings of care to needy children
Group Five, an engineering and infrastructure company in Boksburg, made winter a little warmer for the needy children of St Francis Care Centre, by donating dozens of blankets.

Representatives of the company visited the centre on Wednesday morning, July 10, to donate about 200 new blankets to the centre.
Despite the challenges of the ever-increasing cost of living to their own lives, Group Five employees joined forces with the company’s suppliers, and contributed money to help buy blankets for the impoverished among their communities.
According to Caroline Combrink, the project coordinator, it has become Group Five and its suppliers’ tradition to offer comfort and warmth at this time of the year to the needy children of the centre.
Combrink says the centre will continue to benefit from their annual project themed “Group Five Blankets Challenge”.
“Our staff and suppliers are determined to help people in need among their own communities.”
St Francis Care Centre is caring for dozens of children and the elderly people.
This includes children who are orphans, the disabled and those rejected or neglected by their families.
