Upgrades to cause water shut down in Vosloorus

Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality spokesperson, Sam Modiba, says the major work on the water pipeline’s construction has been completed.

“The three days in which water supply will be interrupted will be used to link the final connections to the existing network,” assures Modiba.

Areas that will be affected include:

* Vosloorus Poly Clinic in Ext 1;

* Extensions 2, 3, 7, 8, 13, 22, 28 and 31;

* Mabuya Park; and

* Vosloorus Proper.

Modiba does, however, reassure residents that the municipality will provide 10 roving water tankers for the duration of the water supply interruption.
