
According to the acting metro spokesperson, Themba Gadebe, the NYDA and Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) have partnered to expand the NYDA footprint in an attempt to bring NYDA services and products closer to the young people of Ekurhuleni.
The new offices are situated in Katlehong 1, Katlehong 2, Vosloorus, Germiston, Tembisa, Kempton Park, Wattville, Daveyton, Kwa-Thema and Duduza.
“Young people in Ekurhuleni will now be able to access NYDA products and services including application for funding to further their studies through the NYDA Solomon Mahlangu Scholarship Fund.
“They can also expect to easily access information regarding other NYDA products, including the Grant Programme, Business Consultancy Services, Entrepreneurship Development Programme, Job Preparedness Programme, Career Guidance Information and Internet Services,” says Gadebe.
