Crime in brief for June 22-27

Crime reports from Boksburg police station:

House robbery

* Two suspects forced their way into a house in Ruffels Street, Cinderella, on June 25, robbing the family of their belongings.

A brief struggle ensued between the robbers and the victim’s son-in-law, which ended with the son-in law being stabbed in his forehead and chest. The robbers made off with several goods.

* On June 23, two armed robbers forced their way into a house along Klavier Street, Sunward Park, and locked the occupants in the the bathroom. They stole valuable goods, including jewellery and a laptop, before fleeing the scene.

* In Freeway Park, armed robbers entered a house on June 23, fleeing with a laptop and Ipad. The criminals also locked their victims inside a room.

Hijacking

Members of the Sunward Park CPF came to the rescue of a woman who was hijacked in her driveway, on June 25.

The hijackers dragged her out of the vehicle and drove way. Members of the CPF noticed the incident and gave chase as far as Groeneweide, where the criminals abandoned the vehicle and fled. – @FanieBoksburg
