Celebrities steal the limelight at the prestigious Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile

The winner of this year’s Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile was jockey Grant Van Niekerk riding Hat Puntano.

Celebrity Kevin Lerana, supporting the winning jockey and horse, won R150 000 for his chosen charity, Animal Anti-Cruelty League.

The Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile is glorious event that brings together top racehorses, famous people and corporate sponsors in aid of charity.

Sixteen celebrities on Saturday November came together for the glitz, glamour and excitement while helping to make a difference in raising funds for 16 deserving charities.

It is run at Turffontein Racecourse.
