Boksburg woman nabbed with R42K worth of Cat

Members of the EMPD have arrested an alleged drug dealer in Boksburg and confiscated R42 000 worth of drugs, khat, on November 5.

Acting on a tip-off, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit Members raided a flat on Du Plessis Street and found the 22-year old woman with illicit substances.

According to EMPD spokesperson, Kobeli Mokheseng, two large knotted plastics of khat valued at R52 000 with two pocket size scales were confiscated.

The suspect was handcuffed and taken to Boksburg police station where she was charged with possession and dealing in illicit substance.

She is expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
