Swift reaction by members of the EMPD led to the arrests of an EMPD officer and his civilian accomplice after a foiled hijacking on the N12.

Members of the EMPD foiled hijacking of a delivery truck transporting masks on the N12 in Boksburg.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that one of the arrested suspects is an EMPD police officer.
