Top police officers honoured
As a token of appreciation, five awards have been given to deserving women and man
The Boksburg North SAPS station commander, Khumbulani Mbatha, recently honoured deserving women in blue for outstanding performances during July.
Capt Ella Taukobong, from the station’s information management centre, received a certificate on behalf of the department for their outstanding performance and hard work.
Capt Sanah Leburu, a detective group commander at the police station, received a certificate.
District commissioner of Ekurhuleni Maj-Gen Vincent Leshabane also issued three awards to Lt Col Juanita du Toit, Lioni Brits and Lt Col Sipho Mathebula.
Du Toit, who is the support head at the police station, received a certificate for rating four stars annually for 2019/20 Human Resources Efficiency Index.
Brits also accepted a certificate for human resources on the efficiency index.
A special gift was presented to the female officers.
Mathebula received an award for outstanding performance by obtaining a five-star rating during July for crime prevention on the efficiency index.
During the special management meeting, Capt Godfrey Booysen was invited to share a sermon with these hardworking individuals.
