Watch: Residents keep fit on Heritage Day
Fitness instructors brought their A-game and their high impact moves to stretch the participants
While Boksburg residents celebrated Heritage Day on September 24, about 168 gym enthusiasts from areas such as Katlehong, Thokoza, Windmill Park, Dawn Park and Vosloorus gathered at Zeecha Square in Windmill Park for the aerobics marathon.
Organised by Future Shapers Fitness Club, the event was aimed at encouraging people to exercise in a fun, stress-free environment so they could keep fit.
From as early as 8am, participants were already queuing outside the venue to register.
Approximately 15 fitness instructors conducted various exercises varying from basic to advance to help burn off those extra kilos.

Fitness trainer and motivational speaker Ntokozo Mwelase, who founded the Future Shapers Fitness Club in 2006, said they wanted to introduce people to fitness in order to improve their physical and mental wellness.
The group ended the four-hour long session with the Jerusalema dance.

The event will again take place on October 10 at Zeecha Square. People are encouraged to participate on this thrilling marathon.
