The police are aware of the video circulating on social media showing two men stealing cellphones from a hand-to-hand courier service RAM vehicle in Elizabeth Road, Impala Park, on December 3.
Boksburg North police spokesperson, Const Justice Ramaube told the Advertiser that a case of theft from motor vehicle was opened at the Boksburg North police station today, December 4.
In the video, the thieves are seen stealing boxes containing brand new cellphones from the delivery van, and loading them into their getaway black car. An alarm in the property went off and the wailing of the alarm saw the men jumping into their car and sped off, leaving one of the boxes on the ground.
