St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls senior school recently named its learner executives for next year.
In the school’s traditional ceremony to indicate the changing of the guard, the day saw the outgoing class of executives light the 2021 executives’ candles and blowing their own out.
Nokhwezi Nqeketo has been named as the head girl, with Daniella Lilje, Dimphonyana Mokoena and Unathi Nkomo named deputy head girls.
A short message by the school to its new executives and committee leaders read: “We congratulate these girls. May God guide them in their term in office.”
The new senior executives and committee leaders are:
Nokhwezi Nqeketo (head girl)
Daniella Lilje (deputy head girl/head of committees)
Dimphonyana Mokoena (deputy head girl/head of student affairs)
Unathi Nkomo (deputy head girl/head of house)
Courtney Stride (head of hospitality)
Tshegofatso Moalosi (head of culture)
Gabriella Teixeira (head of sport)
Jordan Kobrin (head of pre-grade)
Andreia Carvalho (head of charity and ethos)
The rest of the executive class are: Ashleigh Drummond, Bokamoso Mphahlele, Busisiwe Ndlovu, Caitlin Richter, Favour Nwogbo, Isabella Domiter, Jessica Pita, Katja de Freitas, Kayla Richardson, Khanyi Mbele, Nikita Azevedo, Olivia Smargiasso, Pabala Mahlatsi, Rethabile Mohlala, Samukelisiwe Dube, Tayla Ashton and Thato Peete.
