Figures Boksburg models shine in model of the year competition
At the model of the year competition, Boksburg Figures had a winner and second runner-up
Figures Model Finesse International held their annual National Model of the Year Pageant for 2020 at Roodepoort Theatre recently.
Top models from all the branches around the country participated in this prestigious competition.
Contestants from the Boksburg branch excelled in the following categories:
Makesha George was the winner in the girls 16 and older commercial category. She was also the second runner-up in runway couture.
Miss Boksburg 2019 Nadine Blouw was the first runner-up to Makesha.
Owner of Figures Models Boksburg Sandra Theron-Swanepoel said she is delighted about her models’ achievements.
“Our models performed well during the competition and I couldn’t be prouder of them. They’re all winners in my eyes,” said the owner.
She highlighted that they adhered to all Covid-19 regulations during the competition.
