Easter bunny visits Bokkie Park
The Bokkie Park is obviously still a favourite place of families from all over the East Rand to visit.
Judging by the turnout at the Bokkie Park on April 3, many East Randers stayed home over Easter, opting to enjoy the sights and sounds of lekker local happenings instead of going away.
The monthly Food and Craft Market and the Advertiser’s Car Boot Sale drew a lot of interest and the weather was ideal for a family day out.
With plenty to browse, buy, do and see for young and old, the market was the place to be!
The Easter bunny, stilts man, face painting, live music, pony rides and more awaited children eager to get into the Easter spirit while many families threw down a blanket and enjoyed a picnic on the lawns of the park.
It was the perfect setting for people watching, meeting new people and for finding a unique bargain or two.
The next Bokkie Park market and car boot sale takes place on May 1.
All Covid-19 protocols apply upon entry and visitors are encouraged to play their part in keeping themselves and those around them safe so that the market can continue as a means for small businesses and others to earn money.
