Do you still want to nominate your community hero for the Advertiser/West Pack Lifestyle Hero of the Month competition?
Well, here’s your chance. The second call for nominations is open and you have until June 10 to submit.
We’re not looking for celebrities, just our ordinary Boksburgers who go about their business, but always have time to think of others and put up their hand for a good cause.
Think of people who are doing good for our environment, animal lovers, those who run soup kitchens or fill the odd pothole and pick up litter on the weekend, care workers, NPO workers or teachers and business people who have a heart for the less fortunate and care about their city.
By nominating these individuals, you could put them in line to win an R1 000 West Pack Lifestyle voucher to spend however they wish.
This is what you have to do to enter
• Send your full name and contact details and the full name and contact details of the person you are nominating to our hero hunter, Ntombikayise Sibeko (ntombis@caxton.co.za), and include a motivation about your hero of no more than 200 words.
• Because we love animals too and know how awesome they are, we are open to animal heroes being nominated.
A few rules
• The hero nominated must live in Boksburg.
• Your entry must include a motivation of no more than 200 words.
• The winner will be selected by the Caxton Local Media team.
• The winner must be prepared to be interviewed and photographed for the newspaper.
• Nominations close on June 10.
