The Ghetto store, situated in East Rand Mall, was robbed of expensive jeans and other clothing on June 14.
According to the Boksburg North police spokesperson, Const Justice Ramaube, during the robbery, a 24-year-old security guard who was on duty at the mall at around 06:20 was allegedly accosted by two armed men.
Ramaube said it is alleged though that four suspects were involved.
“Three of the men proceeded to The Ghetto store where suspects cut the chain at the door and stole the clothing,” he said.
During the robbery, the alarm went off and the suspects fled the scene with the stolen items.
“Investigations are ongoing,” Ramaube said.
The value of the stolen items at this stage is unknown.
