Women pampered during their special day
Attendees got an opportunity to relax, unwind and indulge in the fun.
A group of women from Villa Liza and surrounding areas were pampered during a Women’s Day event organised by the Philasande Villa Liza Community Centre on August 9.
The event provided an opportunity for the women to relax, unwind and indulge in the fun.
Women from the age of 50 received preferential treatment as they exclusively had their nails done by Neon Makofane from The Beauty Spot, who worked magic on their hands.
Speakers were also invited to speak on various topics to empower attendees. Children from the community centre provided entertainment during the event.=
According to Phumla Sukazi, manager of Philasande Villa Liza Community Centre, they organised the event to show their love and appreciation to women.
“Women play a pivotal role in the society and they’ve contributed so much. Due to work and family commitments, women no longer have time to themselves; hence we decided to pamper them.”
Sukazi expressed her gratitude to all the sponsors who made the event possible.
“We would like to thank Brightshades Paint, Gucci Lounge, Beauty Spot and Mzansi Business Association for their continued support.”
