Ward councillor celebrates Women’s Day in Windmill Park
All thanks to Graphite Security, attendees went home with gift hampers.
Ward 43 Clr Carolana Marais held a special Women’s Day event in Windmill Park on August 9.
About 35 women from the area graced the event, which took place at the Vineyard Prophetic Ministries.
During the gathering, attendees were encouraged to focus on their dreams and not be hindered by prevailing circumstances.
Marais said as part of her party’s women’s network called Dawn, which addresses issues affecting women in South African, the event was aimed at acknowledging women in the society and giving them hope during the pandemic.
Furthermore, Graphite Security donated gift hampers to the group of women.
