Charity organisation in need of support
According to its website, Hanna Charity and Empowerment Foundation supports communities with all the basic services, such as playgroups, soup kitchens, skills development, job creation, clothing banks, social and psychological support.
Hanna Charity and Empowerment Foundation, a registered NPO, is in need of the community’s support to assist underprivileged people in Boksburg North.
Items such as maize meal and non-perishable foods will be appreciated.
“We’re handing out food parcels in Boksburg North at places such as the church in 10th Street, and we’re desperately in need of food,” said Charlene Jackson, Boksburg and Benoni manager of the foundation.
Jackson explained the organisation is assisting 86 families in Boksburg North.
“We try to feed these people once a week; however, it depends on the number of contributions we receive. The more donations we get, the more we can help.
“The need is so big due to the negative effects Covid-19. I also want to highlight that the people we assist are truly less fortunate,” she said.
She expressed her gratitude to those who supported the organisation in the past.
