New board for Woodlands Interact Club

The new board members already started with a community project.

Woodlands International College recently announced the new board members for its Interact Club for 2021/2022.

Claire Downing takes on the role of president of the club, and Alexis Roos is the new vice president. Robynne McMaster will be treasurer and Tayla Howroyd secretary.
The communications and publication board members are Jemma van der Poel and Busi Maduna. Dominique Rayson is the webmaster and will keep our social media presence up to date.

The school also welcome Taylor Stokes and Sriyam Kisten as club captains.

Marina de Vos, educator at the senior college, congratulated the new board members.

“We look forward to all their projects in the coming year,” she said.

De Vos highlighted board launched their first community project to collect much-needed items such as maize meal, cooking oil, clothing and shoes for Urban Ruins.

“This will be an ongoing collection and if any member of the Boksburg society wants to donate any items, please email prinslooc@woodlandscollege.co.za. Any donations will be welcomed,” she said.
