6 Pac fashion label founder takes his work serious

Brutus Singo, the founder of an up-and-coming fashion brand 6 Pac, has juggled being a football coach and an entrepreneur.
The 25-year-old, who lives in Rondebult, sells branded hoodies, sweaters, hats, T-shirts, caps and trousers for a living. His soccer team, Supreme United FC, also helps keep youngsters keep off the streets.
“The reason I started this brand was to afford people the opportunity to wear quality clothing at an affordable price.
“I didn’t want young people who can’t buy expensive well-known brands to feel left out because of their financial constraints. They need to feel and look stylish with the little they have.”
Singo, who works alongside other young people who assist him with sales and marketing, said in a few years he wishes to see his brand being sold in all retail stores across South Africa.
His message to young people: “It is important to think out of the box because nothing is impossible until you try. When venturing into this kind of business, make sure you know what kind of fashion styles people love.”
